Admission Notice

M.Phil and P.hD. Programs Fall Session 2013

Applications are invited for admission in M.Phil Islamic Studies and P.hD. Islamic Studies at Sheikh Zayed Islamic Centre, University of the Punjab, Lahore on prescribed forms: Forms are available at Sheikh Zayed Islamic Centre with effect from the date of advertisement. The applications complete in all respects should reach in the office of the Centre by 12-07-2013. The admission forms are also available for downloading from www.pu.edu.pk/dpcc. The prospectus and schedule is available in the office of the Centre.

       

Eligibility

For M.Phil

For P.hD.

1.        M.A. Islamic Studies / B.S. Islamic Studies 4 years degree or equivalent qualification in the relevant subject from a recognized University (at least  16 years education, 130 credit hours) as per Higher Education Commission  (HEC) rules.

2.        Only those candidates will be considered who have qualified GRE  (General) / NTS (GAT General with
minimum 50% score).

M.S. / M.Phil Islamic Studies or equivalent qualification with minimum CGPA>3.0 on first division as per HEC rules.

Only those candidates will be considered who have qualified GRE (Subject) after acquisition of 18 years of education.

Prescribed application forms duly filled in and supported by the attested copies of educational certificates / degrees be submitted to the Director Sheikh Zayed Islamic Centre by 12-07-2013.
